Ong Wei Lin is a Primary 4 student from Keming Primary School. To her, nature is an amazing place that should not be taken for granted. Wei Lin aims to be a scientist when she grows up so that she is able to ensure the survival of the different species of plants and animals, worldwide.

Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is a fun and enjoyable place to learn and play. My trip to Sungei Buloh has inspired me to learn more about nature. We watched and took photos of the many plants and animals. I saw many interesting plants and animals.

The monitor lizard is my favourite. As it appears and disappears, I found it very hard to take pictures of.

Did you know that the monitor lizard has poisonous saliva that can kill an animal in one bite?

I hope you would like to come to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve too!

Congratulations from
Greg Marshall
